First of all, I am an agent with the leading real estate company in the area.  Sloane prides itself on being a third generation, family business that has been the leader of real estate in the Southern Brunswick Islands for over 50 years.

Started by George A. Sloane II and wife Willa Rae Sloane in 1955 and preceded by their children George "Tripp" A. Sloane III and Debbie Sloane-Smith, Coldwell Banker Sloane Realty continually strives to be the leader in all facets of real estate sales and management in the Southern Brunswick Islands.

Today the real estate division has grown to 4 offices with over 50 agents with dedicated residential, commercial, and new home divisions and is proud that the company has been #1 in market share in Brunswick County for the 3rd year in a row.

Personally, I have over 30 years of professional experience in Information Technology including management, marketing, sales, consulting and development activities.  In early 2006, I retired from Warner Bros. in Southern California where I was Director of MIS International Theatrical Distribution.  Many of my friends and associates were surprised to hear I was retiring at the earliest age possible and moving from California to Ocean Isle Beach to pursue a new career in real estate.

Why would I leave a good corporate position in California for an uncertain career in North Carolina real estate?  I have been investing in real estate in the Ocean Isle Beach area for several years and the return has been outstanding.  The prices and types of properties available make this area much more attractive to me than California.  I also vacationed here the last few years and love the ocean, waterway and GOLF!  In short, I love the lifestyle and see unlimited opportunity.

I have a BS degree in accounting from San Diego State University.  My wife, Nanci, and I have two grown children, and five grandchildren.  I enjoy family and friends, golf, tennis, boating and other water sports, music, dining, riding my motorcycle and collecting vintage electric guitars.

Why should you select me as your real estate agent?  Since becoming an agent, I have become very knowledgeable in the local area, having spent considerable time researching different communities, getting perspective from residents and other agents, and creating composites of areas of interest. I use the internet to promote the area and specific properties and analytics to evaluate investment opportunity.  I believe good communication is the key to successful transactions and I would describe myself as honest, trustworthy, assertive, a good negotiator, and having a good sense of humor.
